The only thing is that women have to do is be tested regularly for early detection and early treatment. The problem is that many women don’t get tested and for a variety of reasons. BD Onclarity needed to get the word out that the FDA just approved a self-testing kit for women around the world.
Our challenge… getting people inundated with outside media pitches to get the message, understand its enormity and get the word out.
So, we decided to design a box that they simply couldn’t ignore.
And to bring this image to the world, we plastered it all over NYC during Advertising week. Our image became the focal point of the FQ Equality Lounge with the pointed message of #raiseherprofile.
While there’s always more work to be done across all industries, our image is a reminder of how far we need to go until AI recognizes more women and starts to change what equality looks like.

What’s inside? A plant? A turtle?
You can’t just leave this in the mailroom or on your desk for the weekend.

The warm, moist environment turned out to be a replica of exactly that.
And provided an example of how easy it should be to get into women’s hands. We won’t go into detail over the many discussions of what the inside should look like, but there were many opinions.

We shipped these all over the country and guess what? Journalists and writers opened them, they wrote about them and they helped us get one step further to ridding the world of a disease that currently affects so many women. Even if we are one teeny tiny cog in the wheel of helping eradicate this disease, this is what makes us most happy.
